Good evening! Sorry this post is coming so late in the day, I needed my break today so I didn’t write anything. How are you guys doing? I hope you’re having fun at the Wild game! Ray is in the bedroom watching it, but I am taking a bath. I’m thinking about hitting the sack early tonight, I haven’t been sleeping a lot lately and with this long weekend coming up it’s bound to catch up with me. Well, I should probably tell you about my day huh? I worked 8-5 today (my normal Tues&Thurs shift). Turns out old evil boss lady came in at all the right times today. Don’t get me wrong, the kids were wound today and most of the day was a struggle. But she didn’t know that because every time she came to check on me, guess who had everything under control? Yep, this chick. I’ve decided the most one of the best parts of working there is learning something new every single day about how kids work and what they respond to. For example, today with 15 minutes left until nap time was over, the kids all woke up at once. One of them decided to run around the room, which got 20 kids running around the room screaming (this is before gym time so they are extra hyper at this time). When my co-worker came in she started freaking out and yelling at the kids (who can blame her? Its so frustrating!). So she decided to take 2 of the kids who were the main causes, down to the office. After she left I thought to myself “they aren’t responding to our voices because to them we are background noise, let’s try a silly voice”. So I did the silliest voice I could muster, and sure enough, 18 kids were sitting on the ground listening to me. The best part was, they were laughing too! Its always a good sign when kids laugh. Its the simple things like that that make this job worth it. Where else am I going to get experience with psycho kids to prepare me for my own classroom? The moral of the story is, I love my job, even though my boss sucks. Well, that was my day, hectic but reassuring. I miss you guys and I can not wait to see you tomorrow!! I love you sooooo much!! Adios for now :)

Children in Darfur Sudan are sometimes lucky to eat once a day. This week’s Sevenly tee provides 35 nutritious meals for one of these kids.
Even if you don’t buy a shirt, it would still mean a lot if you reblogged.

We are all one. Help a child in need <3

You are beautiful no matter what. Be who you are and don’t let others get you down.

For everyone who thinks they aren’t pretty enough, or good enough, sexy enough, or hot enough. You are beautiful, every single day. Don’t let anyone tell you different.
